Intro
I've been coaching for over 40 years, guiding hundreds of clients across diverse cultures, industries, and continents. I began my practice when coaching was almost unknown outside of sports, and developed my approach through deep study, extensive training, and decades of real-world application. My work is grounded in rigorous academic training: a Masters degree in Clinical Health Education with a specialization in Counseling, and a PhD in Human Science Mental Fitness Coaching with a focus in Systems Inquiry. This foundation in psychology, philosophy, and systems thinking informs everything I do, enabling me to work at both the individual and systemic levels. Beyond formal education, I've pursued extensive training in mindfulness and meditation, stress management, interpersonal communication, improvisation, and other disciplines that enrich my practice. I also worked for a number of years in a large technology business and as a freelance consultant where I learned a great deal about leadership and organizational behavior. My multicultural background, fluency in several languages, and the breadth of my life experiences allow me to connect with and understand clients from vastly different contexts and perspectives.
